3D Printed Dewalt 618 Router Lift

I've been working on a Router Lift for my Dewalt DW618 Router with the plunge base. This will mount under my router table but its upside down for now while I refine the design.

The base has two existing holes for guides which were drilled and tapped to accept 5/16"-18 threaded rods and the Lift itself is designed to swing out of the way to allow the Router motor to be swapped to a fixed base as needed.

The Drive Rod is a 3/8"-16TPI Threaded Rod and with a 2:1 reduction to the knob. 1 turn of the Knob turns the large yellow gear, 1/2 turn and raises the router 1/32". The anti-backlash nut is built into the aluminum swing plate. That sub assembly is really cool.

I'll be posting a more in depth look into each part and thingiverse files soon but I wanted to get something up and get feedback.

Front side of the lifT

This is upside down, but this is the side you will see, when mounted under the router table.

Back Side of the lift.

I thought that nut was coming loose. Nope it was fine.

Removing the Router Body

Loosening a wing nut allows the lift to swing clear of the router for removal.

Inserting the Router Body

Same as removal but reversed.
